Mission Statement
The mission of the Family Engagement Committee is to build strong partnerships with families, staff and the community to strengthen and support students to reach their full potential.

The Valley School District Family Engagement Committee (FEC) brings together principals, teachers, staff and parents from the Valley K-8 School, Paideia High School, and Valley Early Learning Center (VELC) to share district updates (message from the Superintendent), information about learning programs and school activities, and an opportunity to discuss current topics and improvement ideas. This committee serves as an advisory group for the district.

The FEC gathers monthly during the school year, with meetings generally offered both in the morning and evening on the meeting date to accommodate varying family schedules. Meetings may be held virtually online and/or in-person in the District Office/Columbia Virtual Academy Building. Childcare may be available during the evening meeting.
