Our four active school programs, transportation center, business operations, and modern facilities are powered by a well-rounded leadership team and vibrant staff. We offer a range of positions throughout the year for persons seeking entry-level positions, education and business professional positions, and all those in between.

Our district’s mission is to improve the lives of students and families, with programs and services that are responsive to needs, engaging, supportive and safe. A workgroup/team approach includes development of a program-wide strategic plan and vision for creating an educational experience where everyone has an opportunity to be involved and get inspired to pursue excellence.

Nestled in a pastoral valley hugged by thick forests, Valley School District is about forty miles north of Spokane just off Highway 395 between nearby towns of Deer Park and Chewelah. Our rural location is an asset to those individuals seeking employment in a progressive district with modern facilities just a hop and a skip from both city life and outdoor recreational activities, events, skiing and golf resorts, wilderness areas, lakes and so much more.
